Andrea Kanz

Born and raised in Tacoma, Washington, Andrea began riding horses at the age of 13. She started showing in Hunter/Jumper shows and currently competes in the 3'-3'3" Jumper Ring on a green 6-year-old Warmblood cross.

Home-educated through high school, she had the flexibility to be able to work for lessons as a groom for the past 7 years and continues to work part-time for two days a week as a groom. She completed Chiropractic X-ray training to become a Certified Chiropractic X-ray Technician and works at a local chiropractic office (for humans) as a part-time Chiropractic Assistant/X-ray tech & sometimes fills in as receptionist. She has been in this position for four years.

Her passion for horses has led her to her newest position as part-time assistant to Dr. Wenzell. She loves horses and really enjoys helping to keep them healthy and well.
